About Astral Housing
A family business letting and looking after homes across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire since 1996.
Astral Housing began in 1996, when Dave and Mary Bryant moved to Nottinghamshire from Wales and started buying and letting homes across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. What began as a handful of properties grew into a small portfolio they built and managed themselves for the best part of thirty years, tenant by tenant, repair by repair, the way a family business tends to.
They ran it on a simple principle: look after the homes, look after the people in them, and both look after you in return. It's why most Astral tenants have stayed for years rather than months. These are homes, not just houses on a spreadsheet.
Today, with Dave and Mary stepping back, the business is in the hands of the next generation. Their daughter Kate, with her husband Simon, now manages the day-to-day (the lettings, the rent, the maintenance and the tenancies) with the same hands-on approach the Bryants built the business on. The name over the door is the same. So is the way we do things.
